Tra la fine dell'800 e l'inizio del '900 la mente illuminata di Alemanno Barsi concretizza un sogno: portare i turisti dell'epoca a scoprire le montagne di marmo attraverso un sistema di trasporto fantastico che durerà poco ma che sarà l'avvio, col sostegno del CAI, del turismo sulle montagne della Versilia. Da quel sogno un affascinante viaggio a piedi alla scoperta del territorio compreso tra le acque di Viareggio e quelle di Bagni di Lucca. Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the enlightened mind of Alemanno Barsi materialized a dream: bringing tourists of the time to discover the marble mountains through a fantastic mean of transport that would last a short time but would launch, with the CAI support, the tourism in the mountains of Versilia. A dream which gave birth to a fascinating journey on foot to discover the area between the waters of Viareggio and those of Bagni di Lucca.
